The thing about you and me is that, we are tragically confined by the pressures of everyday life. Its stresses, anxieties, traumas, fears, slumps, and inevitably, comes death. We are slowly losing a bit of ourselves everyday. I'm not the same as I was five years ago, and I'm not sure I'll even remember this day when I look back at my life. However, some things keep you and me connected, always. Our dreams, our thoughts, our unlimited potential. Sure, we keep falling, we keep failing, but have you ever wondered, why you haven't given up? Why, aganist all odds, you are still alive, still giving those dreams and aspirations and desires a life to exist? There are a million reasons for those dreams to not be wanted, to not be thought of, to not be expressed. Yet, here you are, fighting aganist the million. I've learnt that we are in a constant battle between two worlds, and in this way, this is really what shapes our life.

The External Locus:

  • I believe, every human has an external locus of control. We can't really say them out loud, because we are scared of it, all the time. We believe that everything is happening to us, we believe there is nothing beyond the tragic loss of a person. And, in a way, it is true. We didn't want for this to happen, so, it is true that we can be hurt anytime, at anyday. It is true, that our lives can be flipped in a second, forever changed. We start lying, we start hiding, we start running, we fall in with the wrong crowds, the wrong habits, the wrong path. What was meant to be an experience, turned into our whole life story, and we don't remember anything else other than what the world did to us, and not what we are doing to the world.

The Internal Locus:

  • I believe, every human also has an internal locus of control. We can't really say them out loud, because we are scared of it, all the time. It is that hope, that faith, that sees what we can't see at the moment. It is often called little, often referred to as somewhere deep down within us. But, I refuse to believe that. It is loud, and it is everywhere in our existence. From getting out of bed, to listening to our favourite song, to enjoying the sun hitting our face. The world tries to make it seem little, worthless, lost, stuck, so that it can overpower you with the external locus. You, in your pure essence, is nothing like the external world. That takes some time to learn, especially when you fall in with the wrong crowd. There is an internal locus of control within everyone, supporting them from birth, till the end. This hope, that maybe we will have a happy ending, as long we keep breathing, and giving life to that hope. This hope, can lead us to our dreams, to our purpose, to create something new and completely unique to us.

We live in a world, with billions of people co-existing with us. I would like to think, language, war, history, politics, technology, space, created by all of us, helps us listen to each other. And I
